We Recommend: The Apple Pan

This classic L.A. eatery has been open since the 1940's, and stays true to its original menu.
Known for their burgers and pies, this place exudes vintage charm. The counter is U-shaped
and wraps around the kitchen. The only seats are stools at the counter, so it can get crowded,
but service is very speedy so the wait isn't long.
Two orders of fries and Coke in a paper cup and cup holder.
The hickory burger with cheese - amazing!
The Apple Pan is located on Pico in West Los Angeles.
Also, it's cash only, but there's an ATM across the street.

  2. Ooh, I love old-time restaurants. & basically, if they serve french fries, I'm normally a happy-camper. But that's just the teenage taste-buds in me talking :)
