Patrick Wolf at Finn's Funhouse

The always amazing Patrick Wolf performed at Finn's Funhouse last Sunday night. Patrick is a singer/songwriter (and sometimes Burberry model) whose five albums and recent 10 year retrospective have been labeled Folktronica and Baroque Pop (which is possibly the best label ever). His albums have featured collaborations with Tilda Swinton and Marianne Faithfull.

Finn's Funhouse is a gorgeous Victorian home in Hayes Valley that functions as a private residence by day and a stage on select evenings.

Patrick was accompanied by the sparkly Calpernia Addams, and between them they played the piano, organ, tenor guitar, violin, autoharp and mountain dulcimer.

Patrick's grand finale was performed on an electric organ with technicolor buttons and an 8-track, and was a remix of The Magic Position. He prefaced his performance by saying that the organ reminded him of his favorite character from Edward Scissorhands, the creepy religious Organ Lady.

Below is video of the finale.

(I apologize for the dimness of the video, the concert was by candlelight)
