Cannes Best of Show & Style Icon: Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman has been one to watch on the red carpet since she was still with Tom Cruise, but her style since their divorce has evolved greatly, as her confidence and fashion savvy have grown.  Nicole's height allows her to pull off dramatic gowns, and she knows which colors and textures work with her fair, ginger coloring.  This year she joined the jury at Cannes, a professional distinction for her, and she also wore many of our favorite dresses at the Festival.  Below are some of her all time best looks, as well as the fabulous ensembles she wore to show up almost everyone else at Cannes.

Academy Awards Fashion: The Red Carpet

This year's Academy Awards fashion was subdued, with a fairly neutral palette similar to the one we have seen all awards season - despite the variety of color on the fall runways.  We were not blown away overall, but we still had our favorite looks:

 

Jessica Chastain wore custom Armani Privé with Harry Winston jewelry, and Old Hollywood hair and make up. 

 

Halle Berry in Versace.

Naomi Watts wore Armani Privé - she worked closely with the designer on the gown. 

Kerry Washington wore Miu Miu.

Nicole Kidman wore our favorite L'Wren Scott dress from the Fall 2013 show in London.
