Favorite Hikes - Runyon Canyon

Runyon Canyon Park is centrally located in LA, with entrances off of Franklin Street in Hollywood.  The parking is all in a residential area, but generally you can find a spot within a couple of blocks - and you're there to hike, so what's an extra little walk?  Our favorite way to go into the Canyon is up Vista, away from the more popular Fuller entrance.  Once you enter the park, follow the main fire road for a moderate hike up, amazing views from the peak, and a steeper, somewhat more challenging decline that will leave you feeling like you got a real work out.
